Live NASCAR odds for Nashville list Denny Hamlin and Kyle Larson as the clear favorites ahead of Sunday's Ally 400 (3:30 p.m. ET, NBC).
Here's a quick look at the favorites according to updated NASCAR odds from bet365:
- Hamlin: +350
- Larson: +375
- Martin Truex Jr.: +700
- Christopher Bell: +750
- Ryan Blaney: +1200
- William Byron: +1200
That's a heavy dose of Joe Gibbs Racing at the top of the odds board, which is why I'm still relatively optimistic about betting Truex at +800 odds on Wednesday despite his poor run in qualifying — Truex will start 17th on the grid.
I'm still trying to make final decisions regarding which outright NASCAR picks to add, though one top-1o prop is worth betting right now.
NASCAR Pick for Nashville
*Odds as of Sunday morning
Bubba Wallace managed just a 24th-place starting spot in qualifying, but his long-run speed in practice is hard to ignore.
The 23XI Racing driver posted the fastest five-lap average, the third-best 10-lap average and the third-best 15-lap average of his practice group, indicating this car has plenty of pace in race trim.
While there is rain in the latest NASCAR forecast for Nashville, it's also expected to be hot and humid, meaning the track should be very slick once the race is underway.
If so, Wallace appears to have a car that is good on longer runs and can make passes, providing enough confidence for me to back the No. 23 Toyota to finish among the top 10 drivers in Sunday's Ally 400.
NASCAR Pick: Bubba Wallace (+220) for a Top-10 Finish — bet365
