The longest race on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule takes place Sunday as drivers and teams tackle 600 miles of racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
The Coca-Cola 600 joins Formula 1's Monaco Grand Prix and the Indy 500 on what is widely considered as the biggest day of the year in motorsports, so there should be plenty of betting interest in racing throughout the day, including NASCAR.
So if you're already looking at getting a jump on Sunday's Coca-Cola 600, there's one featured driver matchup to consider taking early before cars hit the track this weekend.
NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 Pick
*Odds as of Tuesday afternoon
Despite pit crew issues that have hampered him this season, Bubba Wallace showed plenty of speed at Kansas, a 1.5-mile track just like Charlotte, rebounding from multiple miscues on pit road for a 10th-place finish.
In fact, 23XI Racing was incredibly fast at Kansas, with Wallace's teammate Kurt Busch leading the most laps and running the most fast laps en route to victory.
Suarez is a bit more difficult to project since he ran into trouble at Kansas and Las Vegas earlier this season, but my initial reaction was that this matchup should be priced as a pick'em.
To confirm my opinion, I checked in with the Action Network's Nick Giffen, who revealed that his preliminary Coca-Cola 600 models sets Bubba Wallace vs. Daniel Suarez in the neighborhood of a coin toss, so getting plus money is where the value lies.
I don't love the edge and, frankly, don't have much of an opinion on any of the Coca-Cola 600 featured matchups, but if you are looking to get down early, Wallace at plus-money seems to be the best of the bunch.
The bet: Bubba Wallace (+120) over Daniel Suarez
