The Brooklyn Nets are the clear-cut favorite to win the NBA Finals.

If you live in New York, it just became legal to wager on them.

New York sports betting goes live on Jan. 8. Four sportsbooks will be immediately available to place wagers: FanDuel, DraftKings, Caesars and BetRivers.

Be sure to set up an account on as many as possible in order to shop for the best odds.

Let's get into some of the current odds on the Nets.

Brooklyn Nets NBA Finals Odds

SportsbookNets Odds to Win NBA Finals
DraftKings+245
FanDuel+260
Caesars+260
BetRivers+260

There isn't much value in taking the Nets to win the NBA Finals. At +260, that would mean the implied probability of the Nets winning is at 27.78%. There are too many variables in play with over half of the season left to play.

But if you are going to take the Nets to win the championship, get the best number in play.

Brooklyn Nets Eastern Conference Odds

SportsbookNets Odds to Win Eastern Conference
DraftKings+130
FanDuel+140
Caesars+130
BetRivers+140

Again, there's not much value at this point in the season. But–with the way the Bucks have played this season–it appears the Nets have a distinct advantage in the East.

If you're interested in taking the Nets to win the conference, the best spots to place your bets will be FanDuel and BetRivers at +140.

Atlantic Division Odds

SportsbookNets Odds to Win Atlantic Division
DraftKings-750
FanDuel-430
Caesars-600
BetRivers-715

These numbers aren't necessarily worth laying in the middle of the season. The Nets only have a 3.5-game lead over the 76ers in the division. Even at -430, that's an 81.13% implied probability.

If you are going to take the Nets to win the Atlantic, take the -430 at FanDuel.

Other Team Futures

On DraftKings, you can still take the over/under on any team's regular season wins. The line on the Nets is currently at 53.5.

You can also bet on a team to make the playoffs or not but good luck laying -20000 on the Nets. They are +4000 to not make the playoffs.

If you're interested in betting which seed the Nets will be in the playoffs, that's bettable too. The number for the is currently at 1.5 on DraftKings.

Player Futures

Kevin Durant is the second favorite on all four books to nab the MVP Award. He's currently +240 on DraftKings, +210 on FanDuel, +240 on Caesars and +250 on BetRivers. If you like Durant to win MVP, the best place to go is BetRivers.

If you like James Harden to take over as the top player for the Nets and expect him to be in the MVP conversation there are some odds for that as well. He's 70-1 to win MVP on DraftKings, 80-1 on FanDuel, 60-1 on Caesars and 100-1 on BetRivers.

Patty Mills has some value to win the Sixth Man of the Year Award. He was the fourth-leading scorer on the team but has slid down to fifth since the return of Kyrie Irving. If Irving starts playing in more games that will hurt Mills' playing time. He's currently 75-1 on DraftKings, 100-1 on FanDuel, 75-1 on Caesars and 50-1 on BetRivers to win the award.

Steve Nash is not one of the favorites to win Coach of the Year and there could be some value there if the Nets finish with the best record in the NBA by a wide margin. He's currently 13-1 on DraftKings and 25-1 on BetRivers.
