It's one of the biggest nights on the NBA calendar and it is set to commence on Saturday night.
The NBA All-Star Saturday night will include the 3-point contest, the skills challenge and the dunk contest. Everything will be televised on TNT, starting at 8 p.m. ET.
The 3-point contest will be the second event of the night and DraftKings has released odds on the participants.
1. Luke Kennard +400
In his last two seasons, Kennard has hit 44.2% of his 3-pointers. That is second to only Joe Harris among players with at least 450 3s during that span. He's also back in his home state and has wanted to participate in this event for a long team.
"It's been a dream of mine since I was a little kid growing up and watching the 3-point contest," Kennard said in December. "It's something I would love to do. And being back in Ohio, where I'm from, I feel like my entire hometown would be there. It would be neat."
2. Patty Mills +450
Mills currently ranks third in the NBA in 3-pointers made with 172 and ninth in 3-point percentage (.425), making him the only player in the NBA to rank in the top 10 in both.
3. Fred VanVleet +500
VanVleet has made 3.9 3s per game this season, that's the second-most in the league behind Steph Curry. He currently leads the Raptors in scoring with 21.6 points per game.
4. Zach LaVine +550
LaVine came into the league as a dunker but over the last few years, the narrative surrounding him has turned toward sharpshooter. LaVine is competing in his third-straight 3-point contest and is yet to make it to the finals.
5. Trae Young +600
It's surprising to see Young so far down on the list and his odds could change quite a bit over the next 24 hours. Young is currently having his best 3-point shooting season in his career at 37.9% and many would expect him to be one of the favorites in this competition.
6. Desmond Bane +600
Bane is ninth in the NBA in 3-pointers made this season. He is the leader in 3-point percentage (.425) over the last two seasons, his only two seasons in the NBA.
7. CJ McCollum +800
The newest member of the New Orleans Pelicans will be competing in the 3-point contest for the third time in his career, he has never won the event. He's shooting 37.8% from beyond the arc so far this season.
8. Karl-Anthony Towns +1300
Towns finds himself at the bottom of the list as the only true big man in the competition. But that doesn't mean you should count him out, he's currently shooting 40.6% from deep this season.
