Yes, the second officially started Saturday night, but we still had a pesky little Game 7 in the Western Conference to get through before we could put Round 1 to bed. Now we can fully focus on the eight teams in the Conference semifinal round more specifically.

Here's a look at the most updated 2023 NBA title odds with two more series set to being Monday and Tuesday night.

To the surprise of no one, the Boston Celtics have the best odds to win the NBA championship with the Milwaukee Bucks being knocked out of the picture in the first round. They were listed at +140 to win the title Saturday afternoon before the second round began. The Celtics moved from -190 to win the East to -225 as of Monday.

The next four teams on the title oddsboard are all Western Conference teams — a sign of how little competition oddsmakers think the three other teams in the Eastern Conference pose to the Celtics. After dominant Game 1 win, the Nuggets moved from +700 to +500 to win the NBA championship and from +275 to +200. They jumped the Suns who moved from +400 to win the title to +600 after the loss.

The biggest riser in the West, however, was the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors were listed at +1100 to win the NBA title ahead of their road Game 7 against the Sacramento Kings. After a masterful 50-point performance from Stephen Curry, the Warriors jumped up to +550. Their second-round opponent, the Los Angeles Lakers, actually dropped from +700 to win the title down to +750.

The last three teams on the board are all long shots according to the odds. The 76ers, who were listed +800 just two days ago, are now +1100 to win the NBA championship. The Miami Heat, who stole Game 1 of their series against the New York Knicks but may have a hobbled version of Jimmy Butler, saw no change in their title odds after the win, but their odds to win the East moved from +1000 to +600.

And then there's the Knicks — listed at +2000 to win the NBA championship and +700 to win the East ahead of Game 1 — who fell to +3000 to win the title and +800 to win the East.
