Toronto Raptors (27-45)
Picks: 4, 46, 47
Draft Prospects | Odds to Go No. 4 (via BetMGM) |
Jalen Suggs | -160 |
Evan Mobley | +220 |
Jonathan Kuminga | +260 |
The Raptors narrowly missed out on the NBA Play-In Tournament, but NBA Draft Lottery luck shined on them when they hopped into the top-4 of the draft order.
There are tons of rumors surrounding Kyle Lowry, who is likely looking to compete for another NBA Championship as his career enters its twilight years. As detailed by our Matt Moore, there are plenty of suitors for Lowry's services.
Whichever direction Raptors head coach Nick Nurse and the front office go in, they have plenty of trade assets and draft capital to pull off a big move. With so much of the Toronto frontcourt hitting free agency, Evan Mobley or Jalen Suggs would be ideal selections if either guys lasts until the fourth pick.
NBA Draft Needs
- Wings With Shot Creation Skills: Toronto has great forwards, with young OG Anunoby showing burgeoning shot creation skills. But still, the majority of the Toronto wings are 3-and-D players. Adding some wings that can score in isolation would allow Nick Nurse to experiment with more lineups.
- Centers/Bigs: Toronto's lack of a capable starting center was a massive detriment to them this season. Aron Baynes and Khem Birch are serviceable players but the Raptors could use a center with some long-term upside.
