Golden State Warriors
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr hasn't fully committed to saying that Stephen Curry would be ready for the playoffs saying it would be day-to-day in the week leading up the playoffs.
"There's a chance he could be ready for Game 1, there's a chance he might not," Kerr told reporters this weekend.
The Warriors were 8-10 without Curry in the lineup this season and haven't had their core three players for most of the season with all three guys dealing with injuries.
Even fully healthy, the matchup with the Nuggets will be an intriguing one. The Warriors are 1-3 straight up this season against Denver, including 1-2 as favorites.
Denver Nuggets
It doesn't appear likely that the Nuggets will have Jamal Murray or Michael Porter Jr. available for the first round, but they still have likely back-to-back MVP Nikola Jokic. Jokic has put up incredible numbers all season, carrying the Nuggets to a 48-win season while leading his team in points (27.1) assists (7.9) and rebounds (13.8) by a wide margin.
Based on the opening lines, the Nuggets have a 35.7% implied probability to win this series and that number would likely go up depending on Curry's status.
The books are clearly expecting a tight series with the odds of these two teams going seven games listed at +175 and six games listed at +200.
