Game 1 between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors featured a huge night from Anthony Davis as he had 30 points, 23 rebounds, five assists and four blocks in the Lakers' road win.

Despite Davis' huge stat line, the Warriors actually had an opportunity to tie it late, but Jordan Poole missed a 3-pointer with just under 10 seconds left.

Golden State will look to even the series in Game 2  and I'm expecting both teams to get things going early. Let's get into the same game parlay I'm targeting for Lakers vs. Warriors Game 2.

NBA Same Game Parlay Odds & Pick

The Parlay: (+285)

  • First Quarter Total Points Over 58.5 (-104)
  • Draymond Green Over 7.5 Assists (+116)

Draymond Green Over 7.5 Assists

Draymond Green is averaging 7.9 assists over 32.1 minutes played in the seven postseason games he's played this season. Those are also right around his regular season numbers, as he averaged 6.8 assists and 31.5 minutes.

Green looks primed for another good night. The Warriors take a ton of 3's, so naturally their overall field goal percentage won't be as high. However, looking into their 2-point percentage, the Warriors ranked sixth in the Association at 56.2% in the regular season. The Warriors also ranked sixth in true shooting percentage, which factors in a player’s (or team’s) performance at the free-throw line, and considers the efficiency of all shots. This is usually a great indicator of a team's offensive success.

Green's passing volume has been among the highest in the NBA this postseason. His 15.9 potential assists are the third-most per game of any player in the NBA Playoffs season and the most among the player who are still active. Look for Golden State's efficient shooting to continue as Green continues to successfully find the open man.

First Quarter Total Points Over 58.5

Both the Lakers and Warriors have gotten out to quick starts, especially in the postseason. The Lakers, through seven postseason games, are averaging 28.4 first quarter points on 47.3% shooting. They are averaging 4.0 free-throw attempts in the first quarter and have attempted 24 field goals.

The Warriors have had the same kind of early success this postseason and are averaging 28.9 points and an 24 field goals in the first quarter.

Game 1 saw both teams get off to a quick start with 60 combined points being scored in the opening quarter. Look for both teams to come out with that same intensity and efficiency and back the combined first quarter total over 58.5 points.
