Game 6 became necessary when the Atlanta Hawks, headlined by Trae Young's go-ahead 3, pulled off a big upset win over the Boston Celtics in Game 5. The Hawks were big double-digit underdogs, but found themselves battling all night with the Celtics in a game that saw numerous lead changes. The Hawks were able to win without their second-leading scorer as Dejounte Murray was out serving a one-game suspension.

If Game 5 is any indicator, don't count out the Atlanta Hawks. They once again find themselves as considerable underdogs, this time at home, but should get a boost from Murray, who will be back in the starting lineup. Here's a look at my same game parlay for Celtics vs. Hawks Game 6.

The Parlay: (+231)

  • First Quarter Total Over 59.5 (-111)
  • Dejounte Murray Over 21.5 Points (-115)

First Quarter Total Over 59.5

The Hawks have gotten out to good starts at home all season and ranked fourth in the Association in the regular season, averaging 60 first-half points per game. In the postseason, Atlanta has logged 74 and 53 first-half points at State Farm Arena.

As for the Celtics, they have also gotten out to quick starts and led the NBA with 60.7 first-half points per game. Boston has two players ranked in the top 10 in first-half scoring as Jayson Tatum averages 15 first-half points and Jaylen Brown averages 13.7.

Breaking this down even further, both teams ranked in the top three in the regular season in first quarter points per game, Boston averaging 30.2 on the road, and Atlanta 29.9 at home.

Look for both teams to get off to strong offensive starts in this pivotal Game 6 and take the over of 59.5 for first-quarter points.

Dejounte Murray Over 21.5 Points

Dejounte Murray will be back in the lineup after serving a one-game suspension for making contact with a referee in Game 4. He's had a big impact since becoming a member of the Hawks and has played well in the NBA playoffs.

Murray has logged 23 or more points in all four games he's played against the Celtics this postseason and has been particularly effective in the past three contests from beyond the arc, connecting on seven, two and four made 3-point shots.

Murray has put up 101 points in 153 postseason minutes and looks primed for another big night. He's attempted 20 or more shots in all games and looks set up for another big offensive showing.

Pick: First Half Total Points Over 59.5 + Murray Over 21.5 (+231)
