Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes got their revenge.

Clark and Iowa are advancing to the Final Four after a 94-87 win over the LSU Tigers behind Clark's 41 points.

Clark's over/under for total points heading into the game was set at 32.5 and 33.5 depending on the sportsbook. The all-time leading scorer in college basketball history blew that number out of the water.

LSU beat Iowa in the 2023 National Championship game 102-85 and it was one of the most highly-anticipated rematches in women's college basketball history — especially with Clark's eye toward revenge.

The game was expected to garner the most handle for a women's college basketball game in history.

“LSU vs. Iowa is easily the most bet game of the day and could be for the overall women’s tournament,” said Shank Subramani, college basketball trader at Fanatics Sportsbook. “But I don’t think it would surpass a potential Iowa vs. South Carolina finals matchup because it would be a standalone Sunday game with major hype for an entire weekend.”

BetRivers reported they received three times as many bets on LSU vs. Iowa relative to any other game during the women's college basketball season.

The public was heavily favoring Iowa as a 2.5-point favorite. At Fanatics, the Hawkeyes captured about 82% of the tickets and 76% of the handle. It was similar at BetMGM where the Hawkeyes received roughly 71% of the bets and 76% of the handle.

However, it appears most of the LSU bettors were taking the moneyline where the bets and handle were much closer to 50-50. Fanatics said they had three times the amount of handle on the moneyline versus the spread.

Iowa is by far the biggest liability for BetMGM to win the national championship. They'll face their next test in the Final Four against UConn.
