North Carolina is set to launch mobile sports wagering in the state on March 11.
There is nothing that North Carolina loves more than college basketball. With the state's launch in a couple of weeks, it's time to check on North Carolina's national championship and ACC title chances.
The Tar Heels find themselves in first place in the ACC with four games left in the regular season. They are currently -700 to win the ACC regular season. The Tar Heel have a one-game lead on Duke in the conference with a game at Cameron Indoor to wrap up the season. None of the books are currently offering ACC tournament odds.
North Carolina is also in the group of National Championship contenders. The Tar Heels are +1800 to win the title at DraftKings. That means they have the 7th best odds to win the National Championship.
ESPN's Joe Lunardi currently has North Carolina as a two-seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Tar Heels are +400 to make the Final Four at DraftKings.
North Carolina has had a bit of an up-and-down season so far. After a 7-3 start, they then reeled off 10-straight wins to get themselves into the top five nationally. But the Heels are just 4-3 since then and are currently ranked No. 9 in the country.
