There is something nostalgic about a revitalized USC playing a Friday night game at the LA Memorial Coliseum.

Sure, their opponent is the woeful Colorado Buffaloes (I can say that as an alum), but it should still be exciting to watch the USC Trojans in prime time on national television.

The Trojans come into this game with an 8-1 record and ranked No. 8 in the AP Poll and College Football Playoff rankings. The lone loss was against Utah (43-42) in a high-scoring back-and-forth bout.

If they can run the table, including a possible matchup with Oregon in the Pac-12 title game, they will still have a chance to make the coveted College Football Playoff.

The Buffaloes, on the other hand, are as close to a dumpster fire as you can get. They are 1-8 and haven't had many close games throughout the season. They fired head coach Karl Dorrell after the fifth game of the season and an 0-5 start.

Action Network has found a massive PRO projection edge on the total in this game.
