The newest food hall on the Las Vegas Strip is quickly becoming a trendy hub of quick-service restaurants featuring famous food makers.
Caesars Palace has unveiled some new additions to the newly renamed Celebrity Food Hall at Caesars Palace. The latest lineup features three star-studded venues: Tortazo by Chef Rick Bayless, Buddy V’s Pizzeria, and Mokbar by Esther Choi.
That brings the total number of top-notch chef nom noms to 6. The hall also features Chicken Guy by Guy Fieri, Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay, and a Starbucks.
But let’s focus on the newcomers.
Torazo Offers a Taste of Mexico
Rick Bayless is introducing Tortazo, a fast-casual restaurant offering quick Mexican food. You can enjoy street tacos, quesadillas, stuffed torta sandwiches like the crispy chicken milanesa, and house-made churros.
Bayless is an award-winning chef, restaurateur, cookbook author, and television personality. Some say that he has been instrumental in introducing Americans to authentic Mexican cuisine and transforming the perception of Mexican food in the United States.
Something For Everyone and Pizza Lovers (Like Me)
Buddy V’s Pizzeria, created by Buddy Valastro. It’s an East Coast-style eatery that offers a variety of options, including sausage, egg, and cheese sandwiches for breakfast, as well as pizzas and roast beef sandwiches.
Valastro is a famous baker and business owner, who took over his father’s bakery, Carlo’s Bake Shop in Hoboken, New Jersey, when he was just seventeen. He became popular through his TV show, "Cake Boss," which is what many people call him now.
The show's success helped him start other projects in TV and food (like the pizzeria). He’s also opened more Carlo’s Bake Shop locations.
Korean Dishes Served at Mokbar
The third newcomer is Esther Choi’s Mokbar. It serves Korean dishes. Even though it’s a takeaway spot, which seems out of place given the quality of the food, it's definitely worth trying. You can enjoy a bulgogi bowl, pan-fried dumplings, and Korean fried chicken, known as K-pop chicken, on the menu.
According to the Mokbar website, Choi is inspired by her Korean heritage, and influenced by her grandmother’s traditional Korean cooking methods. She believes that food best represents a country's culture. Passionate about bringing the tastes of Korean culture to New Yorkers (and now Nevadans), she blends traditional and modern influences using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
In addition to the Celebrity Food Hal location, she owns mŏkbar, mŏkbar Brooklyn, and is also a partner at Ms. Yoo.
What Is The Celebrity Food Hall at Caesars Palace?
The Celebrity Food Hall has essentially replaced the old Forum Food Hall at Caesars Palace. Once several of its initial eateries had celebrity chefs tied to their names, it only made sense to rename it. You can dine in, order pick up, or have your food delivered to your room.
It’s very close to The Forum Shops at Caesars, which is also known as The Forum Shops. This is an upscale shopping mall on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It is connected to the Caesars Palace resort, and both feature a Roman theme.
Food halls are all the rage in Vegas, and the latest additions to Caesars food hall lineup only attests to it, and there are even more on the way.
This winter, Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Casino will debut Miracle Eats, showcasing popular spots such as Fat Sal's, Tacotarian, Carnegie Pizza, Dave's Hot Chicken, Lobster Me, and Fat Tuesday.
All of these dining options will ensure your belly is full, even if your wallet is not, when you leave Sin City. Good luck, and always gamble responsibly.
