DraftKings Sportsbook launched a new product offering designed to enhance odds on parlay wagers. The subscription service is only available in New York at the moment, to what DraftKings described as “select, eligible customers.”
A subscription to DraftKings Sportsbook+ runs $20 per month. The product provides subscribers with unlimited boosts on winning parlays, up to 100% depending on the number of legs included in a bet.
DraftKings provided the following statement to Action Network:
“The subscription service was designed to offer our customers an enhanced fan experience, creating more excitement and value to our extensive parlay offering.”
A DraftKings spokesperson said the boosts range from 10% on a two-leg parlay to 100% on long-shot tickets of 11 or more legs. Further, the spokesperson said the boosts are only available on parlays in which each leg is -500 or shorter.
For example, a two-leg parlay with odds of -450 on the first leg and +225 on the second leg would be eligible for a 10% boost if it wins.
Be mindful that parlays become more difficult to win with each added leg. Even going from two legs to three legs heightens the advantage for the sportsbook.
Parlays are certainly an entertaining way to engage in sports betting. Subscribers to DraftKings Sportsbook+ could certainly see notable benefits. But as always, engage responsibly. There’s a reason for the saying: Parlays are a bookmaker’s best friend.
