After six months of no National Football League action, we finally have a game on our hands this evening.
The Jaguars and the Raiders will duke it out in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio.
While it's always hard to know who will play and how much they'll play in the preseason, we know that Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne won't be participating for the 'Jags.
Perhaps that's why bettors are getting their action down on the Raiders.
Over at BetMGM, the spread for this game opened at -1.5 before getting pushed to -2.5 following 76% of the betting tickets and 81% of the handle coming in on Las Vegas.
Similar movement occurred with the moneyline, as the split opened at Raiders -120 / Jaguars +100 prior to 64% of the wagers and 76% of the money coming in on Las Vegas.
With regards to the total, the low number of 33.5 wasn't enough to keep bettors from hitting that side. The over/under has moved to 30.5 after 65% of the tickets and 78% of the handle landed on the under.
This is the preseason, of course, so there isn't a whole lot on the line. But this is also the first NFL game that will be played in half a year, so there are sure to be eyes on the kickoff contest.
