Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Garoppolo was able to practice in some capacity over the past couple of days, but wasn't able to be fully cleared from concussion protocol.

The veteran quarterback was injured in the game against the Steelers this past weekend. The Raiders have struggled over their past couple of games and are 1-2 on the season.
Head coach Josh McDaniels was asked if he would be willing to go with rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell.
"Ultimately, what matters is how they perform, not how long they have been in the NFL or how many games they've played in," McDaniels said. "Both guys will get ready to go. Both guys will have an opportunity to practice. And we'll see how Jimmy progresses."
The Raiders are 6-point underdogs as they travel to Los Angeles to face the Chargers. The line was at 5.5 before any announcement on Garropolo was made.
McDaniels will likely go with Aidan O'Connell at quarterback on Sunday.
O'Connell had a stellar preseason that had Raiders fans calling for him to be the starter. Across three preseason games, the former Purdue quarterback went 43-of-62 with three touchdowns and no interceptions.
The Raiders also have veteran quarterback Brian Hoyer on the roster. Hoyer spent many seasons with McDaniels while McDaniels was the offensive coordinator with the New England Patriots.
