The Arizona Cardinals have selected Kyler Murray with the first pick of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Murray closed as the -500 favorite at FanDuel Sportsbook to be the top pick, so it's not all that surprising to see new head coach Kliff Kingsbury take his guy even though last year's first round pick, quarterback Josh Rosen, is still on the roster.
Kingsbury and the Cardinals' front office obviously sees Murray as an upgrade over Rosen, but what do oddsmakers think?
Prior to the start of the draft, Arizona was listed at 100-1 to win Super Bowl 54 at the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas.
And after taking Murray? The Cardinals' Super Bowl odds remain at 100-1 according to Westgate's mobile betting app.
This doesn't necessarily mean that Murray doesn't offer a higher ceiling under center for Arizona, but the oddsmakers at Westgate simply don't see a need to make an adjustment at this time.
Interestingly, there's an argument to be made that since Kyler was projeced to land with the Cardinals for weeks that sportsbooks made an adjustment to Arizona's Super Bowl futures prior to today.
However, the Cards have been 100-1 at Westgate dating back to Jan. 15.
