The first round of the 2019 NFL Draft will take place tonight at 8 p.m. ET, and the most intriguing storyline relates to what new head coach Kliff Kingsbury and the Arizona Cardinals will do with the first overall pick.
After taking Josh Rosen in the first round of the 2018 draft, Arizona struggled to a 3-13 record and earned the right to draft former Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray.
Should Kingsbury decide that Rosen is his guy, there are likely plenty of teams willing to trade up to take Murray. On the other hand, the Cardinals could decide to go ahead and grab Kyler themselves.
Either way, Murray is clearly the favorite to be taken with the top overall pick.
Oddsmakers at FanDuel have weighed in as well, opening Murray at +160 to be taken first behind Nick Bosa (+110). As the Heisman winner shot up draft boards throughout the evaluation process, so did his odds to be taken first which climbed as high as -1200.
After peaking, Murray settled in as the -400 favorite as of Thursday afternoon. However, in the hours leading up to the NFL Draft, Murray's odds have bumped up to -500.
Here are FanDuel's current odds, as of 7 p.m. ET Thursday:
