NFL Props: Browns-Ravens
Latavius Murray Under 31.5 Rush Yards
Murray returned from an ankle injury that knocked him out for three games, but Devonta Freeman remained the lead back last week against the Bears, out carrying Murray 16 to 10.
Murray needed those 10 carries to net 32 yards on the ground. However, those 26 rush attempts for the running back position were a season-high amount for the Ravens. This was likely due to Lamar Jackson having to miss the game to a non-COVID related illness. With Jackson back in action this week, expect the RBs to split closer to 19.5 rush attempts. I’m projecting the split to be around 11.5 attempts for Freeman and eight for Murray.
Considering I like the Browns +3.5 tonight, I believe the Ravens are more likely to find themselves in a negative game script than the market thinks. Therefore, I feel Murray is more likely to hit his floor in this matchup. I’m projecting him closer to 26.5 rush yards and would bet this down to 29.5.
