Could we see a snow game on Sunday? Maybe.
The latest NFL weather forecast for Chiefs vs. Broncos does show a chance of snow falling at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colo, but as is typically the case, the timing and amount of the snow is what truly matters for football bettors.
So let's not waste any time and dive right into the NFL weather forecast for Sunday's matchup.
NFL Weather Forecast for Chiefs vs. Broncos
According to the updated NFL weather report for Chiefs vs. Broncos, the lion's share of snow fell Saturday night and early Sunday morning, but should clear out by kickoff.
Per the National Weather Service, an additional one to two inches are expected on Sunday, but the snow should taper off as the morning progresses.
In fact, the hourly forecast shows a 78% chance of precipitation at 7 a.m., which then dips 42% by noon and just 16% by 3 p.m.
And while the grounds crew could have enough time to clear the field by kickoff, extremely cold temperatures will be unavoidable for the players on the field.
A kickoff temperature of 29 degrees, and a wind chill of 21 degrees is expected, and those temperatures will continue to drop throughout Sunday's Chiefs vs. Broncos matchup.
But for curious NFL bettors and fantasy football players, 6-8 mph winds are in the latest forecast, so, while cold, the conditions shouldn't be all that breezy.
