The French Open main draw was released Thursday, and Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal are part of a stacked top half that's impacting the betting odds of the world's best players.
Djokovic is the favorite for the tournament, but Alcaraz and Nadal round out the top three contenders. Stefanos Tsitsipas, last year's runner-up and the fourth-favorite for the title, had his odds cut in half following the draw.
The world No. 4 was sitting at +1000 before the day, but his placement in the bottom half of the draw, where he will avoid the three favorites at least until the final, has resulted in his odds dropping to +500 odds.
Djokovic, Nadal and Alcaraz had their odds remain relatively the same, though Djokovic dropped a touch due to his brutal draw that might result in him facing Nadal in the quarterfinals and Alcaraz in the semifinals.
Alexander Zverev, a 2021 semifinalist, had his odds lengthened as he is in the same half as the favored trio. The German dropped down to +2300 following the news of his placement.
Make sure to get the best futures odds available to you when taking a player, as they can vary greatly from book to book. For example, while Alcaraz is +200 at a majority of books including FanDuel and PointsBet, he can be found at +250 at WynnBet.
