The WNBA is back with three games on the schedule on Tuesday, including a matchup between the New York Liberty (29-6) and Dallas Wings (9-26).
These teams play each other again on Thursday, so there will be a chance for the loser to seek vengeance.

WNBA Same Game Parlay for Liberty vs. Wings
- Teaira McCowan Under 20.5 Points + Rebounds (-106)

Teaira McCowan Under 20.5 Points + Rebounds (-106)
The Liberty are in town, which means a tough matchup for Teaira McCowan.
69% of her field goal attempts come from the restricted area. She owns a horrendous 32 field goal percentage outside of this zone, so her scoring is essentially tied to her rim attempts.
Enter New York’s elite interior defense anchored by Jonquel Jones and Breanna Stewart. The Liberty surrender the second-lowest restricted area field goal percentage and lowest paint field goal percentage.
In terms of play types, the Liberty absolutely shut down post-ups and cuts, and opponents produce the lowest offensive rebound rate against them.
Unfortunately for McCowan, those three areas form the vast majority of her diet.
Overall, New York gives up the fewest points and rebounds per game to opposing centers.
McCowan has hit under 20.5 points + rebounds in 19-of-35 games, or 54.2%. In two matchups against the Liberty this season, she contributed the following stats:
- 14 points, eight rebounds, 6-of-10 shooting, four fouls
- Two points, five rebounds, 1-of-6 shooting, five fouls
McCowan’s fouls are perhaps the biggest takeaway. New York’s skilled bigs should get her into foul trouble again, thus reducing her minutes and subsequent opportunities.
Jonquel Jones 8+ Rebounds (-240)
Dallas features an impressive offense, but New York’s superb defense likely forces a plethora of misses here.
That opens up defensive rebounding chances for the Liberty — especially Jones.
She'll also have quality chances to crash the glass on the other end because Dallas allows the second-largest offensive rebound rate.
In other words, expect a lot of available boards for Jones. The veteran has recorded 12 and 13 rebounds across two matchups against Dallas, so it’s been far from a sweat.
Finally, she's grabbed at least eight rebounds in 25-of-34 games (73.5%).
Adding this leg pushes the same game parlay to +161 odds. If a bit more upside is desired, then I recommend playing 10+ rebounds for Jones, which pushes the parlay to +249 odds.
Both options are viable to me.
