Scottie Scheffler won $2.7 million for winning the Masters on Sunday, according to the Augusta Chronicle.

And Scheffler was not the only one to win $2.7 million off of his victory.

A New Jersey bettor on FanDuel placed a $150K wager on Scheffler at 18-1 that won him the same exact amount.

It is likely not life-changing money for someone that is willing to put $150,000 down, but there's no doubt it has to be the happiest day of their life.

That's the most substantial winner off of Scheffler's win, but it is certainly not the only one.

A BetMGM bettor netted $214,400 off a $13,400 bet on Scheffler to win the Masters at 16-1. Scheffler accounted for 8.9% of tickets and 25% of the handle at BetMGM, with a significant portion of the bets coming in Friday night.

"Day three emphasized the belief that a Scheffler victory was in the bag and we took heavy action on him," BetMGM's Director of Trading Matt Cosgriff said. "Despite some assumption of a Smith victory at +250 going into the final round, it was all about the new world number one. As a result for BetMGM, we came out with a minor loss."

DraftKings took a $1,000 bet on Scheffler that netted $41,000. That bet was likely placed in January when Scheffler was closer to 40-1 to win.

WynnBet took a $250 bet on Scottie Scheffler at 50-1 to win the Masters, which netted the bettor $12,750.

Sunday was not the easiest day for sportsbooks around the country. And that will be music to most sports bettor's ears.
