Is Steven Kwan the best player of all time?
The Cleveland Guardians outfielder is off to a rousing start to his Major League career.
He's batting .692, slugging 1.000 and his OPS is 1.789 in 19 plate appearances through the first four games of his career.
Kwan has made 26 swings in his MLB career, and he has yet to miss a single ball. Throwout strikeouts, he doesn't even have a swing and miss yet.
This has prompted quite the social media stir surrounding Kwan as people are already comparing him to Ted Williams and Babe Ruth.
Okay, nobody actually expects him to get to that point. But if he's able to keep this up, he could end up as the AL Rookie of the Year.
Bettors sure think so already.
Kwan opened at 50-1 to win the AL ROY award at BetMGM. After his first three games (while 8-for-10 at the plate), Kwan moved up to 25-1. Now, after recording two walks and a triple in Monday's game against the Royals, Kwan is all the way up to +600 at BetMGM and FanDuel.
Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. is the favorite to win AL Rookie of the Year. He was the No. 1 prospect in baseball before getting announced to the Royals' opening day roster.
Kwan is fifth in total bets at BetMGM, behind Spencer Torkelson, Julio Rodriguez, Witt and Riley Greene.
It will be tough for the 24-year-old to keep up this type of pace through the entire season, but there also has never been a start to a career like this.
