Rookie Santino Ferrucci had an incredible race, finishing seventh after closing with odds of just 100-1 to win the Indy 500.
Pippa Mann (1000-1), who was ecstatic last weekend just to qualify for the race, also impressed with a 16th-place finish.

And no Indy 500 results post is complete without covering the Andretti family. Unfortunately, Marco Andretti (18-1) will have to wait another year after never contending and finishing 26th.
Finally, Scott Dixon (12-1) who many expected to be in the mix despite reports of an ill-handling racecar during Carb Day practice struggled as well throughout the race, ultimately finishing a disappointing 17th.
