Duren has had a strong start to his rookie season. The No. 13 overall pick has already established himself as one of the better rebounders in the NBA, averaging 8.0 in just 23 minutes per game.
That production has maintained with extended minutes. Since being thrust into the starting lineup, Duren has cleared this line in each of the past five games.
Where Duren has been particularly proficient is on the offensive glass; his offensive rebounding percentage (14.6%) ranks fifth in the league. And that’s exactly where the Jazz struggle, allowing 12.1 offensive boards to their opponents, second-most in the NBA.
In general, the Jazz allow the fifth most rebounds to opposing centers per game. And coming off a game in Cleveland last night, we could see some tired legs leading to more missed shots.
