Betting on props can be one of the easiest ways to build your bankroll, especially in the NBA postseason. Sportsbooks tend to offer lower limits and take less action on props than they do on games, so they don’t have as much incentive to post an accurate line.
That’s where our Player Prop tool comes in handy. We compare our industry-leading NBA projections to the props posted at a variety of sportsbooks to identify the best plays each day. Each bet is then graded on a scale from 1-10, with 10 being the best possible grade.

Thursday's player props come from Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals:
- Miami Heat vs. Boston Celtics at 7 p.m. ET
NBA Player Prop Bets
Miami Heat, Jae Crowder
The Prop: Over 11.5 points (-122)
Revenge is a dish best served cold. For Jae Crowder, this Eastern Conference finals matchup against the Boston Celtics has been a reminder of what they traded away.
Motivation aside, Crowder has emerged as a key role player for the Miami Heat. With the majority of the defensive attention focused on stopping Jimmy Butler, Goran Dragic and Duncan Robinson, Crowder has been the biggest beneficiary.
He's launching a whopping 8.4 3-point attempts during this postseason and shooting 41.7%. In addition, he's hit this point total in five straight games and I don't see it stopping tonight. I like the over 11.5 points.

Boston Celtics, Jaylen Brown
The Prop: Over 6.5 rebounds (+100)
After Game 1's 117-114 finish, oddsmakers opened the Game 2 total at 208.5 implying that this will be a lower scoring game.
That can only mean one thing, more rebounds.
Looking at the boxscore from Game 1, Jayson Tatum grabbed a team-high 14 rebounds. Jaylen Brown's had the second-highest rebounding total for the Celtics with five which is below his post season average of 7.4. This certainly seems like an aberration, one which provides an edge for us on this proposition.
The Boston Celtics face a must-win Game 2 and with Brad Stevens maintaining a short leash on his bench, you can expect Jaylen Brown to play 40+ minutes for the fourth consecutive game. This should provide him with ample opportunities to hit this prop.
We project Jaylen Brown to grab 8.2 rebounds with a bet quality of 10. Take the over 6.5 rebounds.

Boston Celtics, Jaylen Brown
The Prop: Over 2.5 Made 3-pointers (+110)
The Miami Heat are determined not to let Kemba Walker beat them. They've blitzed and trapped him on pick and rolls, taking the ball out of his hands. Of course, defenses can't take everything away. If you're trapping Kemba Walker, that means open shots for his teammates.
Once again, that leads us to Jaylen Brown. He's averaging 20.7 points per game in the postseason while leading the Celtics in attempts from behind the arc at 7.5 per game.
It's clear, the Celtics depend on Brown's shooting for a large percentage of their offense. In Game 1, Brown had only 14 shot attempts which was the lowest amount he's had since Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semi-finals against the Toronto Raptors.
I expect Jaylen to shoot more in Game 2 and if the Heat continue to defend Kemba Walker as they did in Game 1, Jaylen Brown should have plenty of opportunities to hit this prop.
