Since the dawn of betting, the dream of turning a tiny amount of money into a lot has been the dream of many players. Lotteries, slot machines, etc., they all offer the same appeal. Since the legalization of online sports betting, we can now add same-game parlays to that list. So, we have an NFL parlay for Cowboys vs. Bengals on Monday Night Football.
NFL parlays aren't the smartest bets — I'll be the first to tell you that fair odds are nearly impossible to calculate, given the tangled web of correlation between each. They are fun, though — and just like lottery tickets, it's nice to dream every once in a while.
Of course, you could also make some "sensible" SGPs with alternate legs and try to cash a +200 ticket, but that's not what this article is about. Inspired by my colleague Gilles Gallant's "180 Challenge," which hit in Weeks 6 and 10, we'll be operating with a similar goal here.
Of course, with primetime games on multiple days every week, we'll need a winner on each day of the week, but we'll also have more chances to bring it home. Without further ado, here's what I'm targeting for my Monday Night Football parlay for Week 14 on FanDuel.
Bengals vs. Cowboys NFL Parlay
- Over 49.5 (-108)
- Joe Burrow Over 8.5 Rushing Yards (-113)
- Tanner Hudson Anytime TD (+1200)

Given the way the Bengals have been playing lately, I was surprised to catch this total under 50. The last four Bengals games have all topped 60 points, including a total of 82 points last week against the Steelers.
It's notable that the Bengals have played some solid defenses in that span, but it still hasn't slowed down their offense. Besides the matchup against Pittsburgh (the No. 6 team in scoring defense this season), they also had a shootout with the Chargers (the top scoring defense in the league).
Dallas is far from that, giving up 28.3 points per game, tied for second worst in the league.
On the other side of the ball, the Cowboys offense seems to have hit its stride a bit under Cooper Rush. They've averaged over 30 points per game over the last two weeks, and should be able to do enough here to keep things moving against a poor Bengals defense.
This is the top prop in our PRO Projections this week.
Burrow has cleared this line in eight of the Bengals' 12 games, including two instances when he finished at exactly nine yards.
Most books have this line set at 9.5, so that's an important detail to note with FanDuel coming in a yard lower.
While I'm slightly worried that the Bengals carry a lead into the final drive and Burrow kneels his way under the line, it's a risk I'm willing to take against a bad Cowboys defense in a game that should play fast.
This is another pick right from our PRO Projections, which show the biggest Anytime TD value in this game on Tanner Hudson's line at FanDuel, specifically.
It's obviously a long shot, but we have a 13% projected chance of Hudson finding the end zone, which makes it a big value relative to the +1200 line.
Cincinnati uses a few tight ends — with Mike Gesicki leading the charge — but Hudson has 16 total targets over the last four weeks, with three of those coming in the red zone.
Given the likely scoring environment here, Hudson has an above-average shot at getting it done this time.
Plus, we're getting massive +2981 odds on this parlay.
