Dotson has scored a touchdown in three of the Commanders' last four games. He leads Washington in red-zone targets and is clearly a go-to guy near the goal line for Sam Howell.
the Cowboys defense ranks 18th in DVOA against the deep ball and first against short passes. Dotson's average reception has increased as the season has progressed, which is good here.
Also, the Commanders are huge underdogs and will likely face a trailing game script. That means Sam Howell will be throwing a lot throughout this game. It's also important because three of Dotson's four touchdowns this season have come when the Commanders have been trailing.
Dotson caught a touchdown pass on the road against the Cowboys last season as a rookie. We'll back him to repeat the feat in Year 2.
